Kitchen Remodel in El Dorado Hills, CA 95762
The tilework is what carries this whole project - runs of Cloe subway and Hamptons wall tile taken all the way to the ceiling in the hall baths, with crisp Glorious White 12x24 in the master and a Glorious White marble hex shower pan to match. We took on a full remodel of the kitchen plus three bathrooms in this El Dorado Hills home, gutting each space down to the studs and rebuilding around durable waterproofing and tile-to-ceiling walls that make the rooms feel taller and more finished.
In the kitchen, our crew pulled the old quartz tops, backsplash, and cabinets and installed Waypoint semi-custom cabinetry from the 400 Series door line, topped with custom quartz and a new tile backsplash. We added a farm sink with disposal and air gap, set a downdraft chimney hood and a single-unit double oven, and ran a new dedicated electrical line plus a 220V line for the range. Drywall was patched, taped, and textured where the layout shifted.
Across the three bathrooms, we built HYDRO-BLOK waterproofed showers - a low-profile curb shower with a frameless pivot door and glass panel in the master, a tub-to-shower conversion, and an alcove tub setup with a semi-frameless slider. Each bath got new Waypoint vanities with quartz tops, recessed tile niches, epoxy grout, relocated plumbing on the raised foundation, and new toilets, sinks, faucets, fans, and accessories. The master shower runs a rain head and diverter for a second wand.

We had a very large home remodel recently completed by GVD - Kitchen, Master Bath, and 2 guest baths. The sales and design process was excellent - great communication and they worked with us to choose the right layouts and materials. The construction process was long, but worth it and given the scope of the job completed in a very reasonable amount of time. The tile/marble work in particular is spectacular - the attention to detail and quality of workmanship has made for 4 beautiful rooms. The master bath in particular was a huge change and the kitchen is a dream, clean lines and very functional. They clearly communicated any changes to costs based on our asks so there were no surprises. all of the subcontractors made sure to confirm design details before proceeding and at times made recommendations that were better than our original plans. The GVD team handled course corrections and changes real time. We are very satisfied with the work and love our new home.
